The JEEVAN SAHARA CHARITABLE TRUST is a non-profit organization committed to help needy persons with a preferential option for any bedridden/aged frail persons. The "emblem " of the Trust signifies the waves as "a sea of difficulties" and a helping hand which tries to ease the situation and raises it to have a light of sun with love, care and compassion. Certain senior citizens find it difficult to pay the basic fees whom we support as well. We strive to provide a homely environment for the inmates and also conduct periodic medical checkups for them.
The old age home is strategically located close to some of the best hospitals in the vicinity namely Swami Shradhanand Hospital and Cardinal Gracious Memorial Hospital. The Jeevan Sahara Old Age home is a 100 bed facility, Housed in 5 spacious bungalow type structures. it is situated amidst green fields of Bhuigaon village in Vasai taluka. Because of its location, the inmates of the home get to breathe fresh air round the year blowing in from the Arabian Sea, the house is barely ½ km away from the sea coast. The old age home is strategically located close to some of the best hospitals in the vicinity. Since we cater to both male & female Senior citizens, a separate section for males and ladies is provided. Spacious Bathrooms with hot/cold water supply and hand showers with support for easy use. Whole premises and surrounding areas are under CCTV surveillance. Nurse Call System. All Spacious rooms with a semi fowler bed with railing, over bed table, a cupboard and a personal drawer.
